As a photographer I like to work around an adventure whether it’s ‘I felt compelled to buy a lot of tulle and a bottle of wine,’ or ‘let’s hike half a mile across the Connecticut river then climb forty feet up an abandoned rail bridge,’ or ‘Mom, put on that dumb hat you like and let’s go out on the ice.’
My photography is as much about the experience as the shots. Photography is art, yes, but it’s also a fraction of a second, captured with light and silver, that ties you to a memory.
My preferred photographic style is clean, architectural, and most importantly, time well spent with wonderful humans (and sometimes dogs and horses).
